We will be adding more items all the time but we cannot guarantee that we will always remanufacture the items that are available here today so please order now since once these items are gone, they may well be gone for good! Enjoy the site and a soulful shop! www.famousflamesstore.com

The Famous Flames were an American rhythm and blues, soul vocal group founded in Toccoa, Georgia, in 1953 by Bobby Byrd. It was soon after that James Brown first began his career as a member of the Famous Flames, emerging as the lead singer by the time of their first appearance in a professional recording which was, "Please, Please, Please", in 1956. At that time they added new Flames to the group in the form of members Bobby Bennett and 'Baby' Lloyd Stallworth. This was the longest-lasting lineup of The Famous Flames, which became a straight vocal group at this point.

The Famous Flames were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 by Smokey Robinson and the award was accepted by Bobby Bennett just before he died as the last surviving member of the The Famous Flames.

It is with kind permission of Sandi Bennett, wife of Bobby Bennett of The Famous Flames and owner of the trademark 'The Famous Flames ®' in conjunction with John Luongo Management, LLC., that we are able to bring to you for the first time ever, the opportunity to purchase the newly created official Famous Flames T-shirts and Baseball Hats, with more merchandise to be offered on a limited basis down the line.
